Creating Nested Bundles in Simple Bundles 2.0

Simple Bundles support the use of a nested bundle (product bundles that include other bundles within them). This functionality holds significant importance for our merchants. It will not only streamline the product offering process but also enhance versatility. By combining multiple bundles into one larger bundle, merchants can create more attractive product bundles for their customers. As a result, this will generally impact the customer shopping experience which will notably lead to an increase in average order value and definitely increase sales.

Important Consideration

When creating nested bundles in Simple Bundles, keep the nesting levels within a reasonable limit for optimal performance. Each additional level of nesting adds depth to the bundle structure, which can impact the processing and loading times.

1. Nesting Limit:
   • Optimal Levels: You can create nested bundles with up to 10 levels. This structure allows for a comprehensive bundle without overloading the system.
   • Breakdown Capability: The app effectively processes and displays all components within these 10 levels. This means that when you create bundles exceeding this limit, any components exceeding this threshold will not undergo processing and will not appear in the Order Admin section of Shopify.

How to create a nested bundle in Simple Bundles

Let's take for example that you are building a "Morning Routine Bundle". Instead of just adding a single moisturizer, you can create a nested bundle for a 4-pack that includes different sizes." Assuming that both the main bundle and 4-pack moisturizer bundle are created in Shopify Admin, here's how to set it up directly in the Simple Bundles app.

1. After Creating the Main Bundle in Shopify Admin:

• Navigate to Simple Bundles. Click "Create Bundle." Select Existing Bundle product" and choose "Morning Routine Bundle."

2. Add Products to the Main Bundle:

• Click "Add Products." Search for and select the "Daily Rescue Facial Mist" product. Click "Add."

3. Add Products to the Nested Bundle:

Assuming you have already created the Nested Bundle (4-pack Moisturizer) in Shopify. Click "Add Products." Search for and select your "Hydration Moisturizer" product.

4. Save the Main Bundle:

• Review the entire "Morning Routine Bundle" configuration.
• Click "Save Bundle" to finalize the nested structure.
