How to show itemized bundle contents using Order Printer Pro packing slips

Overview

By default, Order Printer Pro displays all items on packing slips as a flat list. For stores selling bundles, this can make it difficult to identify which items belong together, as bundle parents and their components appear at the same level.

This guide provides a template that organizes bundle items by grouping child components under their parent bundle, making packing slips clearer and easier for fulfillment teams to follow. It also supports stores using Single-SKU inventory sync, allowing itemized bundle contents to be displayed even when those components are not added as separate line items in the Shopify order.

How to Install

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Apps → Order Printer
2. Click Manage templates
3. Click Add template (or open your existing Packing Slip template)
4. Delete all existing code in the template editor
5. Paste the code available at this link and save

Once saved, your packing slips will display bundled items in a grouped, easy-to-read format.

Results

• Parent bundles are displayed clearly with their quantity
• Bundle components are grouped directly under the parent bundle
• Child items are indented and prefixed with a “-” for easy identification
• Itemized bundle contents can still be shown when using Single-SKU inventory sync, even if components are not listed in the Shopify order
• Regular (non-bundle) items remain unchanged and display normally
