Creating your first bundle

Welcome to Simple Bundles! 🎉 The steps below will show you how to create your first bundle on Simple Bundles. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. 

Step 1

Start by creating a new product in Shopify. Later, you'll assign this product to be your bundle product or "parent" product in Simple Bundles, to which you'll add your bundled items. There's no need to specify the quantity or price as you can add and adjust them later on Simple Bundles. These changes will be reflected on Shopify as well. If you want to create bundles with variants, mix-and-match bundles, and more, see a few bundle examples here for inspiration.

You also need to ensure that Track quantity is enabled on your bundle variant in Shopify. To avoid negative inventories, we also recommend unchecking Continue selling when out of stock. 

Step 2

Next, go to Simple Bundles and select Build bundle in the Bundles tab. Find the product you just created and click Add.

Step 3

Now, you can start adding individual SKUs to each of the options. Select Add products in the Products section and find each of the individual SKUs you wish to add to your bundle. You can adjust the quantity of each of the individual SKUs and the price of the bundle.

When a customer orders this bundle, Simple Bundles will automatically update the bundle inventory.

Note: If you're testing the bundle through an order created on Shopify Admin, rather than through your customer-facing store, make sure that you mark your draft order as "Paid" so that the order is created. Once the order is created, Simple Bundles will then add the bundle's contents to the order.
