Why are some bundle content line items not included in their original orders?
Simple Bundles 1.0 adds bundle items by editing the order after it's created. When Shopify won't let an order be edited, the bundle content line items can't be added to the original order. You can have the app create a new associated order with the bundle items instead.

How do I check why an order can't be edited?
In Shopify, open the order and click Edit. Shopify shows why the order can't be edited.
How do I still get bundle items onto an order?
Simple Bundles can handle uneditable orders by creating a new associated order with the bundle items.
- In Simple Bundles, go to Preferences > Orders.
- Turn on Enable creation of a new associate order if the Shopify order can't be edited.

Why can't Shopify edit some orders?
To keep bundle contents on the original order, make sure none of these conditions apply to your bundle orders.
Most common reasons
- Multi-currency orders can't be edited.
- V1 subscription orders (for example, via the ReCharge app) can't be edited.
- Orders created by third-party apps or sales channels can't be edited. This includes:
- Social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Marketplace apps connected to Amazon, eBay, and similar platforms
- Orders with local delivery as the shipping method can't be edited.
- The customer address is invalid.
- Orders with duties and taxes.
- Managed market orders can't be edited.
Other reasons
- Orders older than 60 days can't be edited.
- Orders are archived.
- Additional payments can only be completed by the customer. There is no way for the merchant to take a payment on behalf of the customer.
- Automatic discounts can't be edited, added, or removed. Automatic percentage discounts update to account for qualifying items that are added or removed, however.
- Discount codes can't be edited or added. If an item with a discount code applied is removed from an order, the discount is lost, and the buyer owes the difference.
- Shipping can't be edited, added, or removed.
- Checkout doesn't support wallets.
- Orders paid with Shop Pay Installments can't be edited.
- Imported orders can't be edited.
- Orders with a pending payment can't be edited.
