How to sync bundle weights for accurate shipping rates

What is weight syncing?

Weight syncing updates bundle weights based on the combined weights of individual SKUs included in the bundle. This ensures accurate shipping rates if calculated by weight.

When is manual syncing important?

Performing a manual weight sync ensures the bundle weight reflects the combined weight of its components, which is essential for accurate shipping calculations.

🗒️ Weight syncing does not apply to Infinite Options bundles. These must be updated manually on the Shopify bundle product page.

Compatible on V1.0 and 2.0

This feature works with both Simple Bundles 1.0 (single-price and separately priced item bundles) and Simple Bundles 2.0. Weight syncing is particularly useful for 1.0 since the parent bundle remains in customer orders, where its weight is required for accurate shipping calculations.
