How to add or remove items from multiple bundle variants (Add to all)

If a bundle has several variants that share the same item, you don't need to edit each variant one by one. Use Add to all to add an item to every variant of the bundle at once, or Remove from all to take it out of every variant.

For example, if you sell a gift box in 12 sizes and colors and every box should include the same greeting card, add the card to one variant, then use Add to all 12 bundle variants.

How to add an item to all bundle variants

1. In Simple Bundles, open the bundle you want to edit.
2. Select any one variant in the left-hand list.
3. In the Products card, click Add products, choose the item, and set its quantity.
4. Click Save.
5. Click the ⋮ menu next to the item you just added.
6. Select Add to all [number] bundle variants.

How to remove an item from all bundle variants

1. Open the bundle and select a variant that contains the item.
2. Click the ⋮ menu next to the item.
3. Select Remove from all [number] bundle variants.

The item is removed from every variant of the bundle, including the one you're viewing.

What gets copied

• The item is added with the same quantity it has in the variant you're editing.
• If a variant already contains that item, its quantity is updated to match.
• Each variant is then updated in Shopify. If you use price sync, each variant's price is recalculated to include the item.

Why can't I see or click Add to all?

The ⋮ menu only appears when the bundle has more than one variant. If the options are greyed out with the message Save bundle to enable these options, check the following:

• You have unsaved changes. Click Save first, then try again.
• The variant uses a custom fixed price per unit. Add to all and Remove from all aren't available for those variants.
• The bundle isn't a Simple Bundle. In Simple Bundles 2.0, Add to all works only with the Simple Bundle type, not Infinite Options or BYOB. In Simple Bundles 1.0, it works with single-price and separately-priced-items bundles.

Simple Bundles applies one Add to all or Remove from all change per bundle at a time. If you see We're still applying changes to other bundle variants, wait a moment, refresh the page, and try again.
